Post 5 - Why do you want to be a Vet?

I've always wanted to be a vet. When I was a child I don't even know what vets do, I just wanted to be with all these dogs and cats all the day. Then I grow up and learn what vets do and still love the job, so I decide to enter the University to study and be a Veterinarian.
When I was in that special age when all the things were a trouble I wasn't sure of my decision because I love arts as much as I love animals. So I wanted to study visual arts too. I didn't know what to do so I do the PSU to decide for a career by the results but I got enough score for both of them. I was so sad that time, and finally I decide to wait for a year to think better about that.
I enter to an Institute of culture, language and arts in that year. It was a beautiful year.
But in the end I decide to study vets because that way I can do more for this planet than I will do being an artist. It's not like artist do nothing in this world, I think they are indispensable because of their expressions and in a spiritual way, but that's not how I want to help.
I want to help to this planet, to the nature and all the life in here. And animals need more help than humans. It's something like repair the damage that we cause. I feel responsible and want to do something about that.
Until now, University is awesome! is true that I don't like chemistry and it's difficult to me but I can fight and do my best to pass it!  all the other things are so beautiful and I've learned so much! I'm in love with the career and have no regrets about my decision!
In the future I will like to work in a Forest reserve with wild animals in their habitat, maybe in the south of the country (really love the Patagonia) and help there :)

Human Evolution Timeline

1. About 800,000 years ago, fire was controlled by early humans.
2. About 4 million years ago most early human species became bipedal.
3. The Homo Habilis used to live in Eastern and southern Africa.
4. About 12,000 years ago, humans managed to control the growth and breeding of some plants and animals.
5. The Sahelanthropus tchadensis is the earliest human species from the timeline.

Answer these questions:

1. What's been the role of climate change in the development of humans?
-Climate changes are very important for the human development because they define the environment in wich the early human lived. Thanks to climate change humans starts to eat different, live in different places and even affect to the brain size increase and the extinction of some early human species.

2. In your opinion, what is the most significant milestone for the human evolution? Why?
-In my opinion the most significant milestone is becoming bipedal because that's the start to everything. With becoming bipedal begins the evolution of the species and without that maybe we wouldn't be how actually we are.

3. Which early human species was thought to be the first to use tools made from stone?
-Homo habilis was thought to be the first stone toolmaker but then older tools were discovered.

4. Who were the first human species to travel to and live in Europe? When?
-Homo heidelbergensis were the first human species to travel and live in Europe, about 700,000 to 200,000 years ago.

5. Which species survived for the longest time? For how long?
- Homo Erectus was the one who survived the longest time, for about 1,747 million years (almost two million years!)

Post 3: My favorite gadget

My favorite gadget is my PSP, her name is "Precious" so it's like the ring and I'm like Gollum ((Lord of the rings fan here!). I  got it about four or five years ago, I work at a restaurant to collect the money and buy it. I use my PSP a lot! maybe too much. Sometimes I don't sleep because the game it's getting better and i can't stop playing until the end. Sometimes I skip food time too, but it's not all the time. This happens mostly when I'm on vacations or free time, in class period I have no time to play so it's a little sad, I miss my Precious!
Anyway, I still love it because games are so fun and I can go playing everywhere with my Portable, It can play music, videos and photos so it's functional too, also is so beautiful! I love the form, the color, the little buttons and the sound it makes when the game CD starts to spin up.
My life without my Precious would be so boring! I hate play games in the PC because I like joysticks and go outside to play in a park, for example, so is more comfortable the little Portable than other video game consoles. I'm thinking of buying a DS or a WiiU but I'm a poor person right now so I'm happy to have my Precious with me!

Blog post 2- My opinions

1. Coca Cola is the best drink in the world.
I disagree, CC is too sweet for me! when I drink it feels like syrup. I prefer Pepsi, is softer!

2. The best type of transport is the bike.
I completely agree! cars are bad for the enviroment so biking helps to keep a good air quality.

3. I really like fast food.
I disagree. Home-made food is so much better than fast food, when someone cooks for you, it tastes like love!

4. Woman drivers are very dangerous.
I completely disagree! woman drivers are thoughtful than man drivers. Woman are safer drivers!

5. English is an easy language to learn.
I agree! English is funny and easy if you put some effort to learn it! There are so many ways to practice!

6. Education in Chile should be free.
I completely agree! Education is a human right and you are the one who decides wheter or not to study, not your money situation or status in society!

7. War is sometimes the only option to resolve some differences.
I completely disagree! war is the sickness of power some people have inside them. The world would be a peaceful place without armies and those awful stuff!
